Hello, All.

I just wanted to give an unsolicited vendor recommendation for fuel injector cleaning and blueprinting services.

In my eagerness to get the EFI setup in the Scorpion, I almost didn't "bother" with having this done because the Zagato they came from only had 39k miles on it. But the recommendations of several others made me think twice and I'm glad I did. 2 of the 4 injectors were stuck and wouldn't have worked at all.

I received a few recommendations for vendors of cleaning and blueprinting services but took a little time to do my own search online. After a few emails back and forth I settled on Cruzin Performance in Big Rapids, Michigan. It's run by a really pleasant fellow named Rich Jenson who provides an excellent service with fast turn-around time.

For only $11.00 per injector, plus the cost of insured return shipping via UPS (around 8 bucks I think) I got my injectors blast-cleaned with plastic abrasive to remove all the rust, a fresh coat of paint, a really good ultrasonic cleaning, new inlet screens, new pintle caps, new O-rings, and testing and documentation of flow variances. I also opted for an additional $4.00 per injector to have him install new hoses.

My injectors were cleaned, blueprinted, and individually sealed in plastic and returned in very short order. The cost was well below every other service I found, and best of all (for me at least), he even accepts PayPal.

I highly recommend Cruzin Performance if you need to have a set of injectors cleaned and blueprinted. You can find Cruzin at:
