Whatever this is, it's more a tribute than a "re-creation". It's exactly the same as the original, except it has a tube frame, a longer wheelbase and an Alfa engine mounted inline.
And beyond the breathlessness of the description ("one of the coolest cars on the planet"; handles better than the original; the original is worth half a mill quid, therefore...) the real question is what do you do with it? You can't run it in any organized historic series, as it's not real. So that just leaves track days. And how many of those can you do? As far as I'm concerned, the kids' money is safe--and I don't have any kids...
