Maybe a dumb question, but did you already look at the Beta electrical info already available in the downloads area, Bill? It's a Haynes manual excerpt, I think.

I may have some factory manuals at home but won't be back there till weekend after next. I'll check then.

I've got some data but I'm not sure if it's relevant or not, so first question:

Does your main fuse box have 11 fuses or 16?

Dj..I did look at the Wiring Diagram on the Site. I am pretty sure it is not for the fuel injected cars..let me know if I am wrong..Bill G

Well the Haynes manual is no good then and the other diagrams I have seem to relate to the European coupe' and HPE I'm afraid.

The '81 US model has 16 fuses in the main panel. They are numbered 1 through 16 starting with 1 at the fender end of the panel.

They are listed in the manual like this:
1. (8A) Front left side light and rear right side light and license plate lights
2. (8A) Front right side light and rear left side light
3. (8A) Left hand low beam
4. (8A) Right hand low beam
5. (8A) Left hand high beam and high beam indicator
6. (8A) Right hand high beam
7. (8A) Heated driver's seat
8. (5A) Speed control [cruise control]
9. (16A) Power window lift
10. (16A) Booster fan
11. (16A) Ignition switched positive circuit for 30k indicator, A/C control, heated window switch, stop lights, symbols light, A/T, wiper and washer, back up lights, relays G M and N excitation
12. (16A) Switched positive for instruments, turn indicators, clock, seat belt delay device, seat belts solenoid switch, power antenna, central door locking
13. (16A) Electric fuel pump
14. (16A) Central door locking
15. (16A) Heated rear window
16. (16A) Cigarette lighter, hazard signalling, battery, clock, radio

Iv'e got two actually- I scanned the official single-sheet diagram from the Dealer book, you'll find it under electrical section of the "special Technical data/Resources" page on my site here:

and I also have the 16? page electric wiring diagram book that lists diagrams circuit by circuit.
