Nice pics Nate. For now I can only dream of having my car repainted and redoing my interior like you did on your Scorpion. I thought the way the EGR valve was connected to the header looked weird, didn't realize that it was a custom job.

Oh hey there neighbor! I was wondering how to get in touch so I could send you some pictures, I have one of the 308 you'll like a lot too. Well as far as I can tell the 308 has a way better and more intricate interior than the scorpion does, but it could be the the old "grass is greener" effect. I really like that car, I'm glad you've held onto it and are enjoying it. If you're thinking of getting a car you can play with without having nightmares of ruining the originality, maybe an old Lancia, Fiat or Alfa coupe of some kind is something you can customize and set up with your vision. Me and some other owner/ collectors would be more than happy to help you tinker in the garage and offer some help if you decide to pick up one.

Here's that one mean 308 picture I was talking about:

PM sent. I think the 308 interior looks more complex because of all the luxo-barge accessory switches, knobs and levers on the console dividing the seats. You deleted your AC so there's no need for that unless you wanted to add a rally-style bank of switches. It weighs 50% more than the Scorpion so in comparison it is more of a GT than a pure sports car. I like the multi-tone leather in your car especially the door arm rests.

I couldn't help but to post in this thread -- this photo could use the same caption! :D

P.S. -- if you're wondering about the cinder blocks, they were for a cover. This photo was just after a violent storm that (as Murphy's Law would have it) began as soon as the car arrived home and went on for a few days. I hadn't had the opportunity to make room in the garage yet; car is now safe and dry indoors. :)
