Redline, I'm sure your project will come together great. I'm happy to give advice to help, (moral support is the main one!) There's many people on the forum who have done way more over the top restores than I could ever dream, they inspired me to make my car what it is. especially this one:

Despite what people say, you'll find that a properly restored Scorpion will be worth the effort, perhaps even a worthy investment as it hits it's 35th birthday. These 70's cars are on the way to being collectible in the way the 60's models once were, just hang in there and get your car sorted out the way you like it.

Thanks 1,6HF. If you're in the area in Nor Cal this summer, there's the all Italian car and motorcycle show in Alameda CA. Bring your car over, the event is getting much bigger and the bay area is a home to many odd and wonderful models.
