It's been a 10 year project but my 24-valve Group 4 Stratos is finished at last and on it's way to the US. Many trips to Italy to find parts. Had a lot of fun doing it. Sandro Munari tested the car at the Balocco test track in Italy. Will be a pleasure to finally have it in my garage.

Awesome. Tell us more about your car. Where will it be located (so we can all drop by and drool over it)?

Fantastic! And welcome to the forum. As DJ says, we'd love a little more info.

I bought the car in Switzerland. It was moderately damaged when the rear bodywork popped up and spun the car. The owner did a poor job of trying to fix the body and the shell and all the parts were stored on the second floor of a barn. Long story short I brought it to the US and piddled with it for a while and then decided to have it restored correctly in Italy by the best Stratos guys. Found the NOS 24-valve heads in California 15 years ago. The same guys in Italy built up the engine and I had the competiton close ratio dog box along with other competition parts I had accumulated over the years. It's all together now and is a blast to drive. I may take it to the Fiat Freakout in Ashville as I live in Georgia.

Congrats, very much looking forward to hearing more about it and seeing lots of pics. So envious...
