Hello Forum,

I'm about to purchase an 8.32 Series 2 1990 doing 108,000km.
The is in aparent good conditions. The distribution was done at 80,000km and according to what I have been told, it has to be done every 40,000km and it costs about 2,000€ to do since the engine has to be pulled out.
I was wondering if any of you could tell me what should I look for in regards to parts that normally give problems and jobs that should have been done.
Thank you very much for your advise.

Hi Rob,
Try Dr Phil Day philip.j.day@man.ac.uk I think it's still a good email for him, Phil was/is the Chairman of TDC- Thema Dedra Consortium and advises on Thema's in general and 8.32's in particular, and has owned 8.32's himself, he used to work in Switzerland so he may have an 8.32 contact there.
If the email doesn't work or you can't get hold of him please let me know and I try to find a contact number for him.

Brian

Ps I'd love one!

What amazes me is how cheap these desirable cars are. I guess the reason is that you will no doubt require very deep pockets to keep it running properly.

Perhaps the Top Gear adage is true, you can buy a supercar for less than £10,000 - but don't. But there would be no fun in life, if you are always sensible. Sometimes the heart has to win out.
