Let me take a moment to say hello and a large thanks to the community. I have been reading postings for years. I have recently retired and finally have the time to work on my Scorpion. I have held it since I bought it in 1980 and it has been untouched since the birth of my son in 1984. The engine has been on a stand since it came back from the machine shop back then. The floors are bad (gone on the drivers side) and there are patches of surface rust to the body. I am starting by dropping the engine back in and ensuring that all the connections (cooling, fuel and electrical) are still viable. The adventure begins!!
