Help a noobie out...These look like they need some work to be ready to use. Will these work on a Series 1 1.3s coupe? what about center emblems...available?
What is a reasonable price for these.
Honestly I personally like the looks of the cromodoras better, but these could work.

The rims look like they're in decent shape, without much curbing, but they clearly could use refinishing. Genuine Campy center caps show up on eBay very rarely, but repros are probably available somewhere.

5.5 x 13 will fit any S1 Coupé; these were the wheels originally fitted to the early 1.6HFs, before the 6 x 13 Cromodoras. The tricky part will be the tires; 13" tires are getting harder to find. Standard S1 Coupé tires are 145/80-14. The equivalent 13" would be 165/80-13 or 185/70-13 (the latter might have some clearance issues). These size tires exist, but choice is limited. You may want to investigate this before you commit to 13s.

Regarding price, it's hard to say. The seller's correct, though--these are very rare. New repros of the 6 x 13 Cromodoras run a little over 200 euros eaxh, and even with refinishing needed, it's hard to figure these would be worth much less than that. But I hate this sort of "I won't name a price--you make an offer" deal. Who knows if the seller would agree to something reasonable, or if he thinks he's sitting on a winning lottery ticket.

I would say around 700Euro once you take into account the refinishing costs

ed is right about the tire sizes available for these 13 inch wheels. i have these fitted to my s1 fulvia sport. i am running the 185-70-13 toyos and they are o.k., not great. no clearance issues, but the sport may be a little different. you do have to be cafeful about the balance weights if you run these, the first time i had them balanced they weights put on the inside of the rim and they had a clearance problem with the brake pipes.
the center caps seem to be even harder to find than the wheels though, i haven't seen any repro caps either.
despite the tire/cap issue i really like the wheels, really light and a nice look.

Hope springs eternal in the breasts of men. And if you look closely at the photos, you'll discover that "perfetti" doesn't translate perfectly from the Italian...

Saw these replica's for sale at a recent car show (note this is the show wheel and has not been drilled out for the studs yet), unfortunately they are asking £480.00 a wheel… :(

£480.00 a wheel?! For (aluminum, I presume) replicas?

Who's the seller? P.T. Barnum?

UK firm and they can make them on Magnesuim but are too busy to help at the moment = they also build Buggatti engine parts - so us mere Fulvia owners may have to wait a few years.....urrggh!

Who is the firm?

The firm is http://www.crosthwaiteandgardiner.com/
They make replicas of the 6J campagnolo only. Both in aluminum and magnesium. The difference is the price and about one kilo. I haven't heard about them reproducing centre caps.
I have 5.5Jx13 campagnolos fitted to my Hf1200 and found out there were two series. With squared of holes and with rounded holes. The rounded holes were series 2 and became available when the 1300HF was launched. Fortunately I have two sets of both types. One fitted with ordinairy 165x13 Michelin street tyres and the other set with 165x13 Michelin XAS FF for track use. Anything wider spoils the balance and fouls the rear arches. The centre caps also came in two styles. Early ones in chromed brass with the cast in campagnolo logo enamelled blue. The later ones were thin aluminum pressings with the logo printed on. I think they were used for the 14"ragnos'
The caps are supposed to be fitted using a very large chromed circlip.

Cheers,

William

Crosthwaite and Gardiner explains both the quality and the price. Replica Auto Union GP cars don't come cheap either...
