hello again, interior stripped, going ok but have electrical problems!

1. the indicator lights dont work but the hazards lights do, so i am thinking of changing the indicator stalk (we have a donor car) what would be the best way of doing this, if its taking of the steering wheel how??

2. Heating fan, the controller on the inside of the car no longer powers up but used 2  swaped it with the donar car's 1 still no power any advice? And how do i check the fan? can i power it directly to see if it works or is this a bad idea,

p.s. i did check the fuses they seem to be fine

help apreciated as very annoyed and bored of electrics

If you go to the Download Library, Neil has now added the Thema Manual for me & you can download it, everything you need should be there, its about 400+ pages.
Before you start changing the lighting stalk have a look at the indicators themselves, as it's not unknown for wet to get in them, or it might just be earthing.
As for the fan switch, if you download the manual you'll be able to trace what wires go where and work backwards from the switch to find the fault.
