So.... I'm a filmmaker from California (imagine that), I'm a fan of many odd ball cars, and work to preserve, drive, enjoy and make parts for these vehicles as time permits! I have worked for FIAT as a matter of fact, helping to source antique cars for a photo shoot. I made friends with the some designer of FIAT cars, and understand the addiction we all have in loving the family of such special cars. I won't lump in all Lancia as FIAT, but you know what I mean.

And so now the Scorpion is my new fixation for now, which may in fact be a longer term love affair.

My laundry list of Italian cars owned are:

77' Scorpion
78' Beta Coupe
85' Yugo GV 1300
91' Alfa 164L and 164S
79' Alfetta Sedan
81 Alfa Spider
79' Alfetta Mille Miglia
88' Alfa Milano Verde
75' Fiat 128 SL Coupe
74' Fiat 128 Coupe
85' Maserati Bi turbo
81' Fiat 127 Super
77' Fiat X19

If you need anything for any of these cars or information, feel free to give me a shout!

Hi Nate,

Welcome to the forum!

And you're not alone as a lancista in the film industry. Another of our local lancisti, with a Fulvia Sport 1600, was Scorcese's DP on Mean Streets.

Thanks for the welcome.

That's pretty interesting info about the DP. I once worked for Carrol Ballard, on his yacht to be exact... Well not on a movie, but on a giant mock pirate ship that was made in malyasia in the 70's as a tribute to the old days. It's called the "Poppy Wog" and if you think old Italian cars can be hard to maintain, this boat kicked my ass all summer. It was really neat though.

For now I am also hoping to get my Scorp fired up and back to high standards by the summer.

Cheers, thanks for having me here.
