Hey guys, I'm Taj Jacobs.
Car guy/fabricator/painter, Salt Lake City Utah.
A Couple months back I bought a '77 Lancia Scorpion I'd seen in the local online classifieds. $700, hadn't been on the road since '92. It ran, drove home 15 miles!
I just found this forum.
I have big BIG plans for this car, but we'll see what happens I might get it back on the road and drive mostly stock first while I start upgrading.
After I fix major rust, what you can see on the outside AND the floorpans. Otherwise should be solid though, not TOO far rusted.

Was a Cali car for 10 years, registered in Utah in 87. Utah winters/salt is very hard on cars.
Good to be here.

Hi Taj, I'm the guy who outed this car to the group before it was listed locally. My friend there outed it to me, perhaps you know RG? If not, PM me and I will put you in touch. He'll be a good guy to know there. Wish I could've gotten over there quickly enough, but very glad to see that the Scorp found a good home. Keep me posted on its progress. Did you see the parts car that the same guy had as well?

Don't know RG.
Brent I bought the car from is an awesome old guy with machine shop and car / motorcycle collections.

He didn't have a parts CAR left, but he had various parts FROM that parts car still on his shelves, he'll go through and sell eventually I'm sure, we'll see if I can get a couple random pieces he said he still had for me..

I hope to get video of engine running soon and compression numbers, then pull engine/trans to sell.
