Hi fellow F.I. conversion "specialist". Finally done converting my 77 scorp to the Zagato F.I injection system. A big thanks to Mark and Will for their help along the way. Can't imagine owning one of these fabulous little cars without people like you to helps us keep them going.
Along with the conversion, rebuilt eng with high compresion pistons, and bigger valves. A neat cone K&N filtered air collector and Ansa headers take care of the inhaling and exhaling, and a set of konis on the corners with lowering springs makes for a perfect stance. I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome! It's become my favorite ride hands down (I own a 87 Ferrari Mondial Cab, a 95 Alfa 164 Q, a 73 Alfa GTV, and an 87 Bertone X/19, so I think it's saying a lot that the Scorp has become my favorite ride). AND, there's room for improvement :). Once I get the brakes capable of stopping me without needing 10K feet of runway, I bet I'll be all the more thrilled with my sweet little Scorp.
Take a look at my lightsided YouTube video @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nygjHQMuBJs

Hi there Joe,

Now that's a clean looking car - one question though. With the weather you had in the clip, why wasn't the roof off???:D Saw you had one of my favourite tools and certainly did the trick! Got any pics of the install?

Oh, and welcome to the forum if you've not been welcomed afore now! High praise indeed for the scorp in the garage you have.:cheers:

Cheers!

Thanks Darren!
The top is off now:). It is a really nice example. I'm always looking at ways to improve upon it. Brakes and bigger wheels are next on my list. After that, I'll install the 037 front and rear bumpers I have, and a neat little spoil that sits directly on the rear lip of the engine lid. I just LOVE this car:cheers::cheers:

Hi Joe,

Glad to hear it!! I have the 037 rear bumper on the car, and the lip spoiler in my stash ready to go on at some point. Will look forward to seeing pics when they're fitted on yours! ;o)

Cheers
