I've finally got around to removing my sunroof to figure out why it doesn't close properly, and discovered a cracked white plastic piece on one side of the front closing mechanism, the outboard one. Is there a source for this stuff? Looks like I have to replace that whole linkage on that side (the left side) Anyone have that part in good working shape?
Gratefully,
Johnny

HI John,
Got my sunroof repair parts from the South African Lancia parts distributor. Can't remember his name, but he has all the parts you'd need. Very good quality.

Complete sunroof still assembled (ie off car but linkages etc. intact) available here... unless doug is out there and still wants it?
Course, shipping might be a problem :)

Well this thread ended somewhat abrubtly... anyone know the source for the sunroof parts? I need to start gathering a few as I've found some pieces of plastic floating about. Sunroof still works though. Anyone have a tutorial or diagrams for how these things work or are put together?

Yes, the source is Felix in South Africa, URL: sales@lanciaservices.com
But frankly, I have found their web site frustrating and have decided to fab my own replacement strap ends. The problem with my roof is that one of the white plastic joints which activate the roof's closing cracked and the roof would no longer pull down. The connector from the closing handle is a stainless strap and that strap runs accross the roof and connects to a rod running fore and aft with little plastic dogs which pull the roof down. I think I can find a piece of tubing to go aroiund that rod and which I can braze to the stainless strap. Maybe steel fuel line? I haven't started looking.
