New to the forum, thanks for having me.

Does anyone know definitively how many Delta Integrale Evo II were produced and were these only 1993 or other years as well?

Thanks for the help.

Gary, welcome to the forum!

You're asking about Lancia production figures, so "definitive" is a relative term. But Blaettel & Wagner' s book, Lancia Delta HF Integrale, indicates a total of 2,479 Evo 2s produced in 1993-1994.

That total consists of a regular production run of 1,224 in 1993, and 7 different limited edition versions in 1993-1994.

The limited edition EVO II's mentioned by Ed are "roughly" outlined here...

Ed, I just ordered the book. Does it also happen to say how many Evo I cars were produced and what years?

Thanks.

I don't have the book, but there are production references here...

... and here...

... as well as here...

As Ed hinted, you will see that "definitively" can have quite a range.

Oh, Wikipedia has a nice concise history of the Integrale too...

The book is very comprehensive about everything except production figures. It definitely gets a little confusing, as Evo1s were made in both 8V (with cat.) and 16V (w/o cat.) versions; the 16 with more power and the 8 with more low-end torque. All Evo2s were 16V with cats.

And my earlier figures for the Evo2 were off (by 2 cars). Here are what are probably the most reliable Integrale production figures, from Weernink La Lancia (3rd ed.):

HF Integrale (831ABO20S) - 1992: 15

HF Integrale 8V (831ABO24) - 1988-1989: 9,841

HF Integrale 8V cat (831ABO24S) - 1989-1991: 2,700

HF Integrale 16V (831ABO26) - 1989-1991: 12,860

HF Integrale 16V Evo1 (831ABO27) - 1991-1992: 6,451
(6,451 includes 4 special editions: 500 Verde York, 400 Giallo Ferrari, 400 Martini 5, and 310 Martini 6)

HF Integrale 8V Evo1 cat. (831ABO28) - 1991-1992: 4,650

HF Integrale 16V Evo2 cat. (831ABO29) - 1993-1994: 2,481
(2,481 includes 7 special editions: 220 Giallo Ginestra, 20 Club HiFi, 8 Club Italia, 365 La Perla, 215 Blu Lagos, 177 Dealer Collection, and 251 Edizione Finale)

Plus, 24 additional Evo2 chassis went to Zagato for the Hyena.

Wow, more great info, thanks.

More questions on VINs. The Delta Integrale VINs are 17 digits and look like this:

ZLA831AB???######

Where the ###### = the number portion sequence.
The question is what does the ??? (3 digits) represent? All of the cars I see all have 000 for those three digits, is that correct?

Gary,

I'm not going to be much help with that. I know the chassis type numbers, but once the VINs change to the current standardized format I lose track.

As you can see above the 3 numners after the AB are the model.....

For example...all the simple ones 1300cc , 1500cc, 1600cc and the 1,6 HF turbo have 3 zero's after the AB.... and maybe 831AB010 for the 1,6liter models....

Something like that

That is for models after 1986....

Before there are differences.....

You can see some of the stuff here

http://www.spangerum.com:7080/navi?COUNTRY=013&SBMK=L&DRIVE=S&MAKE=L&ALL_FIG=0&LANGUAGE=3&PREVIOUS_KEY=VERSION&ALL_LIST_PART=0&SB_CODE=-1&KEY=HOME&PRINT_MODE=0&EPER_CAT=SP&WINDOW_ID=1&GUI_LANG=3

Select Delta
Then "Browse by vehicle data"
Then Select : Model = 111 Delta
After that you can click on the "version code"
And it will automatically give you the available engines for these models

Now if you know a vehicles chassis number you can see what it really is doing he following
After you select : Model = 111 Delta

Put the last 8 digits of the chassis no on the "Chassis No" field
Press enter once to accept it and the search button beside it....

It will show you all data....

Play around with the EPER...its very usefull
