[Not Scorp] Now I know whay my vain efforts w/the bolts
on the threaded adjusting rod produced little results. The
bushing on the bottom eyelet musta been bad before but
fell out yesterday. W/o those fender washers the bottom
eyelet adjusting rod would have fallen out/off = stranded.
I found a thick grey fiber [plbg. stuff] I beat into the eyelet,
sleeve in, back together. Feels MUCH better. Now to re-adjust
the threaded rod w/bolts for shift feel, AGAIN! Proud of myself,
would test drive/adjust but I washed & waxed & detailed the
LBZ yesterday & it's raining like hell here in St. Louis. Attack
something else on her in the garage today. These cars ? ? ?
