I took my Fulvia on the thirteenth running of the California Melee last weekend.
This is a three day, 800 mile + rally & rolling party for pre-1974 cars that starts and ends in San Francisco and which explores some great roads and scenery in Northern California.
The organizers favor diversity and have a weakness for recently discovered and/or resurrected cars, restorations-in-progress, and the odd & unusual. So the 50+ car field included a very well patinated Maserati 3500GT, a Fiat Multipla, a Citroen 11b, a Jowett Jupiter, and an Alfa with a Megasquirted aluminum Olds V8. Plus the more common (for Northern California fun rallies) Alfas, MGs, Minis, Triumphs, Healeys, Porsches, usw. This year I had the only Lancia.
The Fulvia makes a great car for an event like this. The uninitiated are always surprised at the performance that can be got from the 1.3 liter motor and the ability of the car to stay with anything if the road is twisty enough.
My snapshots of the event are at http://fulviacam.phanfare.com/2009/
