I've seen an Ansa exhaust including centre silencer and rear twin pipe back box for an HPE  but I'n not sure if there's significant differences in the dimensions of the ANSA HPE/Coupe back boxes.... anyone know :?: Would make a nice addition to my coupe if it fits.....
I do know the front pipework is a tad longer and would need to be modified to fit.

Turns out that the HPE item is longer in all respects  , back box quite a bit longer to clear bodywork :( .
Never mind.... but if anyone is interested it's on eBay and is cheap at the moment. Would look nice on any HPE or perhaps a Trevi or Sedan :?: has to be seriously rare anywhere new :?:

I checked the lancia parts microfiche and the parts numbers are different for coupé and hpe. the difference in rear overhang is not all that much but whether it could be made to fit is probably in the lap of the gods!

For future reference, best search (I've found) is Lancia Beta available to UK it generally turns up all of interest to fellow 'betanuts'

One of the hassles with ebay I'm afraid (especially if someone uses 'sniper' or similar 'last minute' auto-bidders) If I really want an item then I tend to put in a bid of what it's retail value would be less 20-30% in most cases that's successful, still think it was a bargain  at £120, last Ansa back box for an HPE I saw for sale was 200Euros on its own, that eBay item had everything less the downpipe :|
I'd be surprised if you turn up another in the UK, but I'm pretty sure that you'll find a CSC item; have a look at my previous posts on CSC exhausts and go from there :P
When I've sold off enough bits myself I quite fancy their 4 branch downpipe....

if you really put on the very highest bid that you can afford it really isn't anything to gripe about if you get sniped. always think hard about what you want to pay before you bid! ............it is also a good idea not to get too carried away competing for an item as bidding can get feverish on ebay if you aren't careful...which I LOVE when I'm selling stuff!!!

DITTO :!: Have just sold an inlet manifold for a Rootes group 1725cc for 15 times my initial asking price  A good example of bidding getting carried away.... still, I'm smiling

I have same ANSA Marmaitte muffler installed on my coupe for over 5 years.
It did stick out by 4-5cm, just enough to give people bruise on the shin. I never had any problems with police or traffic authorities because of it.
Last year I re-skinned the muffler and shortened it by 5cm, just enough to be under rear bumper.
It sound great, those twin pipes really do the job, sings like Pavaroti.
Those mufflers are not available any more.

if you look at the bidding history there is a lesson there for all DON'T STOKE UP THE PRICE always keep your cool and bid LATE these guys appear to have got bidding fever if one had hung on and bid late th price would not have gone so high

460 EURO's that is toooooooooooo much.
That is good mufler but it will rust just like any other on the market.
I paid for mine (rear section) AUD$120, when standard item was 100.

also, when bidding on ebay, be careful. it's very easy for a seller to place bids, or have bids placed on his/her behalf, for their particular item to enhance the "action." of course when a seller does this he/she risks becoming the high bidder on their own item. this why some ebay listings "mysteriously" reappear after the item was supposedly sold.
"caveat emptor" on ebay!!!

i just had a look at that exhaust on the link hamish so gaciously provided and lancia actually make those aswell because apart from the pipe at the very rear of th muffler that is the same as what i have on my beta and i paid AUD$291 including fitting so i would serious think about talking to omricon or evan lancia cause some of the stuff you guy see lancia either still makes and sell or you can get them here for a fraction of the price
(csc 421 exhaust manifold or extractors as we call them and the ansa exhaust & muffler) both original lancia total cost fitted AUD$589.00
and the guy still has more of the stuff :!: well i suppose if any ones interested i could put my hands on hese items aswell

I'd be interested in seeing what price it comes to with shipping to UK  but would need to see a picture of the product (Ansa or CSC) to be 100% sure it's what I'm after

BBB,
If you haven't already, then it would be worth mentioning these on www.betaboyz.co.uk or to Tony on www.mylancia.co.uk as those Ansa systems are seriously rare now
There should be a lot of interest :!:
