There MAY be a 79 Beta with A/C in my future and if it is there will be an immeduiate upgrade to F.I.. This vehicle will be a reliable daily driver with A/C .I already have an 81 F.I Beta engine with all the F.I and A/C stuff on the line.. The first thing that comes to mind is the fuel pump, filter tank??plumbing and recirculation have to be changed. Or did they have that system, sans high pressure pump in the non F.I.'s? So what else .. I am expecting some electrical stuff associated with the FI .. Any "gotchas" I need to know about.

dont know much about this but I do know that injection fuel tanks are different, why not convert to european spec injection when you do it it shoudn't be too difficult to source the parts from the UK ...always assuming it would be legal for you in the US (??)

The only reason that I would be acquiring the Beta is that I have a good 81 Zag, engine with A/C and FI.on the line.. I would not have one w/o FI especially the late 70's cars which were" strangled" because of emissions laws.. I live in northern AZ where there are no emissions inspections so we can run what we want.
Just a general curiousity ,what is different about Eurospec F.I. I ask that because I have a 82 FI 2L Spider that I turbocharged and one of the things we are considering are higher flow injectors. What was the horsepower of the Euro FI cars. In the States it was 105.

122bhp and really good to drive, I suspect that many components could be the same but no smog equipment and a different ecu (??)
