Just as the title says, does any one have a set of good usable CV joints for sale or ....? I am getting the "THUMP" and wind up on take off and shifting. The axle shafts can be moved back and fourth with your hand, time to be replaced. Can any one help me? (I do have a few X1/9 parts I could trade, some hard to find (ie.chrome gas cap for the S1 X1/9).)

You may have better luck finding some cheap CV joints if you would first post some information about the vehicle's model,year.etc..

Where are my manors?:p

I have been a member here before but I sold my Scorp and hadn't been back since. But I bought my Scorp back so now I am back here into the swing of things. My scorp is a 1976 with a 1.8L F.I motor, Bryan White had the motor and tranny rebuilt before I brought it up from Seattle back in 03. It has a CIC header (the mufler got dammaged in shipping of the car) and Omicron bumpers. Once I figure out how to post pics I will have some up.

As for the CV joints...... Any one have any they want to part with?
I found some here: http://marketplaceadvisor.channeladv...161&i=12640276 (http://marketplaceadvisor.channeladvisor.com/StoreFrontProfiles/DeluxeSFItemDetail.aspx?sid=1&sfid=82804&c=437161&i=12640276)

Well, since the late X CV joint is the same as for the Scorp, here's one that's pretty derned cheap, and knowing what Matt sells, it's like pretty derned good too:

I bet if you call Matt, he'll be able to supply as many as you need.

Hope that helps.

Hi,
That's the same link as I have and looks like the way to go.
Thanks for the review, I know Matt has been doing this for some time but now that some one here has vouched for him I know it's all good.

Cheers,
Warren
