Looking for the block mounted electronic distributor found on 79 Betas.

Thanks

FWIW, I think these should be nearly identical to the block-mount dizzy on FIAT 124/2000 spiders with electronic ignition ('79-onward), possibly other models as well? I think only the cap is different, with the terminals pointing straight out the top rather than off to one side. Any of the usual vendors should be able to at least get you a FIAT dizzy plus a '79 Lancia cap.

Hi Tyson,

Sorry the distributors are different. The bottom gear on a 79 beta dist is really thin compared to the cam mounted Fiat distributors.

That's why I said block mounted FIAT dizzys. ;) Or is that what you meant to say?

At any rate, are you completely lacking your original block dizzy, or looking to convert to a block-mounted one, or what? If you still have your original block dizzy complete, I would think just a new rotor and cap, maybe a new oil seal with a simple rebuild should work fine?

Fiat Block mounted spiders were only on the early 1438 engines and were points only. I wanted the electronic version from a Beta. I have only the cam mounted dist but like the clean look of a block mounted dist.
