Thanks for posting that, Tye. Very cool; I hope no-one was hurt by flying debris.

I've been to a number of tractor shows with my wife's family and I've always wondered what would happen if/when a big Ford with 3-stage turbo had a major failure. I've seen minor failures where the turbo burns up accompanied by flame and rich black smoke roaring out of the exhaust. That's pretty scary by itself, like a mini volcano! All those machines, including steam powered tractors are so close to spectators, if something truly bad happened, there would likely be an injury or two.

Holy crap! I wouldv'e been looking upward and listening for a whistling sound made by the earthbound block!:eek:

On second thought- just hearing that thing spool would have caused me to reflexively lift off the throttle! Self-preservation!
