Hi all,

Last winter I had to replace the timing belt, oil, etc. As I already had an Beta HPE ie engine block in the car, I decided to complete the conversion and add the injection system and make it how the Montecarlo S2 should have been from new. Are there any other Montecarlos known with this conversion? I do know of an imported injected Scorpion in the Netherlands.

If you are looking for more performance, this is of course not the preferred way to go, but drivability (compared to an old worn carb) is great. The car becomes instantly a modern drive. The automatic choke issues are completely gone, it idles much better, and power is available immediately.

Allow me to be the 1ST to say that is IMPRESSIVE. Really something to
say the least. Very clean, factory appearance. Good for you! Thanks for
the great pics!

Thanks! It was a goal of mine to keep the looks as "factory" as possible, with the help of air tubing from a Lancia thema that happened to fit exactly. Some ugly wiring is still visible when you take the spare tire out though.
