Beta Door Key

Amongst the stash of parts in my home office and garage, I just came across a brand new door key for the Betas (Coupe, HPE, Sedan & Zagato). It is a new factory key, pre-cut with the key code of 1113.

If your Beta can use this key (it must be lock coded 1113, will not work in another lock) it's your for free, just pay the Priority Mail shipping.

This may actually be useful for anyone who has entirely lost their original door/trunk key, and who doesn't want to order a new one cut too code (http://keys4classics.com/html/Lancia_1.html) or who doesn't even have their original code (this is usually stamped into the plastic cap on the back end of the glovebox lock).

It's possible and fairly easy to re-pin these lock tumblers to suit an existing key, as there are only 3 possible pin lengths to select from, which fit into 10 possible pin positions (5 per side).

Even if you can't rearrange your existing pins to get an exact match, you could probably work it out by omitting an opposite-side pair or two of pins -- hey, it's better than no key and no lock at all!
