Hey All,
I'd like to find a set of "Lancia" script cam/valve covers to fit the Scorp's TC, if anyone has a set to sell. I'm looking for the prettier ones without the ugly emissions fittings cast into them. Please e-mail or PM me if you have a set available.
Thanks.

Have you tried London Auto?
I ditched several sets in my last move. I managed to save 1 w/ Lancia script w/o emissions and one w/o Lancia script or emissions if you want them.

Vick Auto used to have many [Lancia & Fiat] on their salvage
vehicles. I've gotten Lancia cam covers from them, w/o air
pump brackets, in the past. Worth a call me-thinks.

The Lancia ones are very fragile in the webs on the underside, so don't overtighten 'em , John. I mention this because IIRC youu're originally a FIAT guy.

Didn't mean to be repititious John- I don't even remember all I've written in the last 1500 posts, probably nothing of value LOL!
But the reason I didn't offer to sell you any of the Lancia ones I have is they have broken webs. One of these days I'll get around to making a set of edge-bolting ones for myself and maybe some spares, I just have to either get somebody to do a scan and solid model for me or dedicate my machine to probing the part for about a week :(

At the same time I wasn't trying to be curt. When I posted yesterday I was (still am) completely fried from a whole day driving the good woman's Spider with the top down. I forget that UV still gets through heavy overcast. I apparently didn't learn that lesson the first three times I sunstroked myself on a cloudy day.
Anyway, I sort of remembered when talking to the Vick's guy that there was something I needed to have him check about the covers other than not having the nasty emissions mount - just couldn't remember. Too late now. If the web is cracked, I figure I have two choices: 1) send 'em backed, 2) try to weld 'em. Have you ever tried re-welding a broken web?

You know that sounds wrong, don't you? :D
