"New" Photo albums?

The migration of the photo albums is annoying me again. The old ones now deny user uploads. Is there a way to migrate the old into the new so I can cull some of the no longer relevant photos and upload new into something that is at least contextual? Rather than pulling each individual photo down and reuploading? (quite frankly more work than I have time for/am willing to do without a lot of complaining! :D )

The old Gallery has been shut down to new uploads since the day I truned on the new one. There is currently no way to migrate the old to the new other than to reload them. This is why I've left the old Gallery up while testing the new one.

I had thought that the new album feature would be developed more quickly but apparently it isn't being improved to an acceptable level at this point. I don't have the time, nor the inclination to manually migrate the albums either.

I guess I just have to decide what I prefer to have users bitching about. :)

Many don't like the PhotoPost Gallery because it's interface is confusing and non-intuitive. And it's administrative interface is a nightmare.

However, the new albums don't give us the kind of functionality we really need here so I guess I'll turn the old Gallery back on and migrate the new user albums into it.

Thanks for the feedback. It's time to make a decision.
