I'm not a big fan of Lambos, but the last few weeks I have been down in Mississippi doing volunteer work for Presbytrerian Disaster Assistance in Biloxi/Gulfport, Pass Christian, etc.- and down a driveway amongst the ruiins of waht was probably a detached garage in Pearlington, I found this:

The storm surge here was twenty seven feet! The car was about four feet above the river level when I saw it, so you do the math. Eeek!

Seriously though, I fear for this exact thing everytime I hear about a storm approaching the gulf states or even our lower eastern shores... I have a friend in Houston taht had to evacuate and the only thing I could think of was the classic cars in his garage.

How do you think we felt when we found out the Black Scorpion on its way to Televiv was sitten on the dock in a container when IKE hit Galveston. I dont know how or why but the car arrived un-harmed and dry :)
