Scorpion interior pieces

Hey all,

I'm looking for some Scorp interior stuff, roughly in order of importance:

Original molded carpet in blue or black.

Dash cap and end bolsters, color unimportant

Any other interior upholstry in blue

No such thing as original molded black carpet. At least not in the Scorpion. I believe that S2 Montes had them though.

Try contacting Bill Gorelick (http://www.lancisti.net/forum/member.php?u=54) to see if he still has the blue interior from his parts car. It was really nice.

DOES make Scorp. kits, I bought one. Very good kits requiring
minimal fitting. Driver's side rubber bottom + rubber side panel
accelerator pedal slips thru. Comes w/full grey flannel padding.
By minimal I mean there are some contours you will need razor
knife for a PERFECT fit. That said I was VERY impressed how close
the overall fit was. They have a variety of carpet colors to choose
from. They will sent samples upon request. Hope this helps.

If you're looking for carpet you might want new mats too.
Stay AWAY from MatWorks [Vick's & others use them]. They
sent me mis-cut mats THREE times for my Scorp.. Even send-
ing them templates didn't help. I gave up & live w/'em.

I did, but his proposal for for how the interior would be removed from the car, paying a mechanic to do it, set a too uncertain (but certainly high, in my mind) final price tag for me. Kinda scared me off, I guess.

I think I'm also not yet at a place where I'm ready to add to the price of the parts the labor to pull them. Maybe it's already there, but invisible to me, and that's fine. I've been through this with other folks before who felt a need to give me a complete breakdown of the life of the part before it reaches me, including how much they're going to charge for pulling it, cleaning it, wrapping it, yadda, yadda, yadda. Please, just tell me how much you want and I'll make my purchase judgement based on that.

Just looked 'em up. VERY reasonable price compared to what TMH sells. If I can't find a molded one by the time I'm ready to put the interior back together, I'll definitely keep them as an option. Thanks very much!

Hey All,

Still looking for interior pieces with an edited list this time, but basically anything in blue. I have both center consoles, the right dash side, and both door cards. The most important item I'd like to find is a glove box in blue. Second would be a molded carpet in blue, followed by the rear bulkhead piece in blue. Of course seat upholstry in blue would be great too!!!

I may have some stuff you need. A friend is parting out a blue '76 and he asked if I wanted any of the stuff. I think he has a carpet and dash, I don't know the condition..... how perfect are you looking for?

Don't know what you are calling them but if you need the pieces that attach to the door panel to cover the interior handle and looks like an extension of the dash, I have a pair in black.

radio blanking plate. This is the rectangular plate that would go into the radio opening if a radio was not originally installed.

I've looked at it dozens of times over the past 20 or so years but never had the heart to throw it out. Yours for the cost of a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope. If anything you'll know exactly what the original, un-faded blue color was! Email me at:

Kinda bumping this to the top.

I'm still looking for interior pieces. Ideally I've been looking for blue, but I've adjusted my expectations good a bit. Now I'll take any color as long as it hasn't been over-dyed already.

In order of importance, I'm looking for:
glove box door,
dash end caps (parts which mount left and right on the doors),
rear bulkhead (condition of support card not important),
seat pieces - cushions, back rests, head rests

I'm also still looking for a molded carpet in blue.

Still looking for blue interior?

I have a friend who was parting one and I had him hold onto the blue stuff in case you wanted them. I will get his email info and forward it to you. It may cost a bit to ship some of the larger parts..... I also need to go through my stuff. I think I may have the ends of the cluster and maybe the covers for the door latches in my stash - blue won't do me much good!
