Well guys my supercharger setup on the 1800 running 9.8:1 compression is finished :) pity about the CLUTCH! LOL major upgrade needed there to compensate for the additional power who noes how much power i am generating??? Running a 45 sidedraft weber with a 1.4L blower running a pulley ratio of 1:1.32 as i couldnt get it to run properly with a ratio of 1:1  She flys i have retarded timing to stop pinging, plus alcoholo/water injection goes on soon. One other problem besides the clutch is that the car tends to kangaroo sorta jumping in the lower revs prior to 3,000rpm? not quite sure what this is due to considering i can feel the accelerator under my foot moving simultaneously i am not sure what to make of it any idea's? Also does anyone noe of where i can get a racing clutch & pressure plate because the clutch i have in there is new and obviously a new one just cant take the additional torque.

Ahhhh.... popped something on about clutch ideas elsewhere, but having read this post suggest you go direct to Guy Croft and quiz him about his paddle clutch kit - sounds like you'll need it :!:

Be interesting to see what sort of 'grunt' the engine is giving out, has it been dyno tested :?:
The kangarooing effect might be down to fuelling, the accelerator 'wobble' - suggest you support the cable more fully(one or two bracing brackets) and check the springs on the carb linkage.

Well i fixed the jumping problem, it was the cable :P thanks Hamish  now she flys! too much power to accelerate over 1/4 acceleration or the clutch just slips revs to 6 grand in every gear! Im goin to a performace place to let them have a look at the clutch anyone have any idea of the hp an 1800 stock running 9.8:1 with a 45 side draft weber and a 1.4L compresser running pulley ratio 1:1.32 would be generating?alcohol/water injection goes on tomorrow sometimes i get a little pinging at low rpm, this should fix this and allow me to advance the timing heaps :P NOT THAT THE CLUTCH WILL TAKE IT!!! I have some links to sites with alcohol water injection if anyone is interested
