Hi all,

Other than the Monte Hospital where is a good place to source brand new engine/transaxle parts for the Scorpion? For example brand new oil-pumps w/pick-ups, new sumps or anything else that may be Montecarlo-Scorpion specific and not cross over to the 124.

Thanks in advance,

Tim

Hi Tim,

I have brand new "cartridges" for the Scorpion oil pump. This is the main body and all the innards. You remove the pick-up from your old pump and bolt it onto the new "cartridge".

Email me if you are interested

Now that a vendor replied (and not saying he shouldn't have), it'd probably be impolite for me to refer one vendor over another.

Here is my old list of parts vendors, I have some to add and some are no longer current, just for your reference (scroll down to "parts vendors):

Ed, the link I have for you at the above URL is your old Caribou contact, if you have a new URL or you'd like me to put your email I would be happy to, just let me know which, please.

Best,

Hey thanks guys and a belated happy new year!

BTW: I asked Bayless Fiat & World about a new oil pump and was told that they don't carry or source many new Scorpion parts anymore.

"Stick w/Vick": Vick Autosports. Csaba frequently surprises me
by having obscure Scorp. parts. Bruce does too. Lastly, for
suspension parts in particular, "Madd Matt" @ MidWest X 1/9
has more Scorp. stuff than one might think. Hope this helps.

OBERT may have some things. They have a very big Fiat Lancia parts list.

Performance APEX may have some things as they do work on these machines.

But that cartridge idea sounds pretty cool if it does not cause problem with restrictions.

I'd like some further explaination, perhaps a broshure about this cartridge approach.

Much thanks!
