I am looking for a source for the door weather strip. The one that goes on the pinch weld that you can see when the door is open. Suggestions?

JC Whitney  has this that looks like it might be close:

I just bought mine from TMH when I was doing mine but that looks pretty close. I think you should buy some and report back on how well they fit.

They seem to be having issues with their online pictures but you may want to give Re-originals a call. They list gaskets for the Montecarlo (https://02c233d.netsolstores.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=8246).

Try woolies-trim.co.uk
Unfortunately their site is being worked on right now but should be back up soon. Uk based but might be cheaper. They have a huuuuuge range of stuff like that. Personally I've always just gone to a scrap yard and found something as close as possible from a younger car (so they're still springy and not perished). Can usually get 2 doors, luggage compartment and engine lid seals for around £5-£10 for the lot.

All the best for 2009

I just went thru this. Bought from Re-Originals. I think their
cross reference for a Scorp. was their L6 profile. "D" shaped.
I found that to be too small. IIRC I went w/their E9 profile.
"O" shaped & larger = better seal. Technically that is the seal
profile for Beta Coupe/Zag., etc. but it worked on my Scorp.
They will send you 3" samples upon request. They just got a
new, fresh spool of E9 couple months ago. Good folks to deal
with. I think Sandy is the receptionist. Guys in the warehouse
know their stuff.

I bought weatherstripping recently. Mcmaster-Carr.... http://www.mcmaster.com/ has some that's close to OEM. It is cheaper than TMH, but not by all that much.

I ended up buying the weatherstripping from TMH, along with some other parts that didn't have alternative sources. I also bought the fuzzy strips and bacon strips from them as well. I'm sure I paid more than I needed to, but I'd rather support a car specific vendor.

Re-Originals has Scorp door surrounds, not window fuzzy strips.
Re-originals has Beta/Beta door surrounds & Beta/Beta fuzzy strips.

If anyone needs them I have two of the fuzzy strips #82334379 NEW original Fiat/Lancia parts each still sealed in the original bag.

email me at pizza-store@hotmail.com if interested.

Thanks everybody. It looks like I have a few more options to search through.

I'll reply back when I find what works.

Just stick w/Re-Originals, they have what you require.
