Hey guys,
I would like to dress up my pedals with some nice aftermarket stuff but the curve/shape on the gas pedal is a real challenge.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hey Julian,
I'd looked at OMP and several other pedal cover kits and nothing really worked ...at least for me. My problem is that the pedal spacing is already tight and most pedal covers effectively make the pedals wider. I don't think of my feet as particularly wide (11-4E in New Balance), but I own several pairs of shoes where the sole of the right shoe will foul on the brake pedal when using the throttle. My best bud can't drive either my X or Scorpion due to the tight pedal spacing. Wider pedals would only make the problem worse.
I'd love to hear if anyone has come up with a better solution.

I had the same problem with my Scorpion and did an angle cut off of the lower right corner of the brake pedal. After that I could get off the throttle and on the brake w/o hanging up the left foot below the pedal.

Take a look at this beautiful interior (wish mine looks like that) and focus on the pedals.... looks aftermarket?

Hi Julian;
I have Sparcos- the trick is that the pedal arm is directly behind where the pedals want to bolt through- you won't be able to offset enough to get a nut on without ending up with a pedal in a goofy offset position. So what I ended up doing is drilling and tapping the OEM pedal for the aftermarket machine screws and loctite.
Incidentally, the Sparco rubber grommet/nubs wear off and it's IMO better to just pull them out to start off with. I got mine from Northern Motorsports in Illinois.

John O., you're right about the tight spacing between the pedals - i need to keep that in mind if I'm gonna do this.
Will, thanks for the lead and I'm currently looking through hundreds of choices between Sparcos and MOMO (my favorite brand). Found a MOMO set below which looks like at least the gas pedal has the righ curvature.

If I do decide to go through with this, will definite post pics :)

Most definitely stock pedals with stock rubber covers.
I guess everyone has different tastes, and the interior you show is certainly finished off; However I'm not a big fan of the gauge pod slapped on the dash. No doubt there are things not to like about Scorps, but the center console provides plenty of opportunity for adding gauges so that one of the few lovely moments the interior has (the sweep of dashboard) doesn't have to be spoiled. Just my $0.02

You're absolutely right! I guess the lighting/reflection threw me off since I have an aftermarket aluminum pedal set in another car that gives off a similar look from a distant

Hey, that's my favorite MOMO pedal design! I've actually got a set here waiting to be installed, could take measurements if you need...?

If you have a scorp then I would love to see how the pedals fit on there using clear tape. But I think from your signature, you have the Zagato right?
Thanks!

lol DJ! What is that Ally looking bracket/handle on the left. I assume it's the luggage cover release - can you take some pics of that?
Cheers!

That's a nice bit of ally - something you did yourself or had done? Certainly looks more robust than the standard bendy plastic item!

It came with the car but was not mounted to the any body structure. I made some brackets and used ABS to make a cover for it. The rear hood handle is exactly the same set up.
