I attended the AACA National Fall Meet in Hershey,Pa. and showed my Beta on Saturday 11th. Great show and fantastic cars.I forgot my damn camera though. I didn't attend the awards banquet because I didn't think I had any chance of winning any awards....WRONG!! I received this (http://lancisti.net/photopost/showfull.php?photo=7602) in the mail today .I was completely shocked.

Excellent, Charlie, congratulations!

I wondered what Class 25E was, I can't make anything sensical out of their class system. Looks like 25E includes you and a 1971 Datsun (Fairlady Z perhaps?) , while 25D includes an 82 MB, 78 FIAT, and a couple of 72-74 Triumphs. So apparently the classifcation isn't by year or marque, can you shed some light on it?

Here's a link to the results should you want it for reference (if you haven't looked it up yourself already): http://www.aaca.org/meets/results/2008_Hershey.pdf

Thje last class is interesting, the "SGCV" class- I never really thought much about it, biut that Clenet and the Pinto-poewered Shay will eventually actually BE antiques!

edit>> OK< got the class: "Sports Vehicles- Closed 1970-1983" it's in their "judging guidelines" book.

A huge thanks to all my fellow Lancistis for the kudos!
There were five cars registered in my class:
My 1975 Lancia
a 1972 Opel GT
a 1972 Volvo (P-1800)?
a 1979 Porsche (911)
a 1971 Datsun (240z)?
