I bought my first Scorpion in 1979, a silver/red 1976 model #137AS0100825 from the Fiat/Lancia dealer in Santa Ana, CA Dick Miller Motors. Over the years I owned dozens more including (last 4 digits of VIN only) numbers:
0134 gold
0223 blue
0264 red
0445 white
0509 red
0541 ???
0591 silver
0692 black
0839 red
0982 red
1097 red
1335 red
1416 black
1519 gold
1638 silver
1724 gold
1725 gold
1737 red
1743 blue
1759 gold
I didn't even realize until today when I put this list together that I had owned gold #1724 and gold #1725!
I only started keeping track of VIN's about 1990 so there were probably 20 more or so before that. For over 20 years there was not a time when I was without a Scorpion and often had 3, 4 or more at the same time. During this time I also owned a dozen or so Zagatos, several Beta Coupes and an HPE or two also, not to mention my Flaminias, Fulvias and Flavias! And the Fiats... don't get me started on those!
Anyway, over this time and with all these Scorpions I put together my own little stash of parts. Over the past couple of years I've put some on eBay or sold privately to other Scorpion owners. Since at this point I have been "Scorpion-less" for a few years and it looks as if there is not another on the horizon it's time to let the rest of these items go. Tools, trim, Owner's Manuals, Shop Manual, even the last few of the parts I can make the famous Scorpion moonroofs from.
