81 Beta Coupe on E-Bay. Black 'n' Bone. Header, maybe cat-less?
Spokane Washington. Looks V. nice. No affilliation. Just popped up.

I gather this must be the one you mean:

Even considering the seats need restitching and the slight PS door dent (guessing the checkstrap broke loose?), that has to be one of the nicest coupes I've seen lately! Someone jump on this one!

I read "The mileage on the car shows 31492. We are unsure if that is original mileage or not," and thought it must be total BS. But given the condition, it almost makes more sense than 1031492; even the plexi cover on the fuse box is clear--not brown and crazed.
Good thing I don't have any room...

Agree w/Ed: Likely 31K mi. I posted 'cause black 'n' bone is a
nice scheme plus '81s [being injected] are preferable. I had
one. Nifty, nimble cars.

The car looks nice, I may check it out on my trip to WA state later this week.
The black paint hides the 3 dents that need only $400 to repair.

Agree w/Stinger: that P.S. door looks pretty bad. Re-skin likely.
If you do see it Stinger let me know. My e-mail is public. I'd
bid/take-a-look -see but being in St. Louis, transport, YIKES !!!

If the damage is limited to the door skin (and not the window mechanism or surrounding panels) it's pretty hard to get too worked up over it--it simply wouldn't take that much money to put it right.
I had an '81 Coupe, and they're very sweet cars with the L-Jet. Of course, it's entirely possible that this one isn't as good as it looks in the photos. But I can't imagine how anyone could be completely put off just by the door damage. To them, all I can say is try to find a more promising, low-mileage example than this one...

Heck it could easily have 130K on it! Geeze, my 82 "goog Zagato" (which was absolutely as perfect as you can get an "all original including paint" 30 year old car in) , the one that won all the trophies, got into Autoweek June of 2000, various newspapers and other small mags as well as special invitaion only affairs, had over 127K on it when I sold it 6 years ago and it was perfect, (many people in the know used to tell me better than new), say a couple small barely noticable door dings and a paint chip or two on the leading edge of the hood. So miles mean nothing, care and maintenence is where it's at!
