Not mine, but figured someone could use it... if only it were closer, it'd be fun to drop into my sedan. No idea why it's on Seattle CL.

Unfortunately being in the central U.S.A., given it's condition, it ain't
worth a plug nickel much less shipping. Sad but true. Thanks for post-
ing. The way our steads go, parts or othewise. :-(

I aggree, unless someone is close by and wants to do a rebuild, (they are fun and easy to do, BTW, and pretty cheap if you do it all yourself except machining), but any trip to get a long block, that you know needs a total rebuild, and may not have a salvageable block to start with, that cost you more than $100 total, trip and all, would make it a loss to me and not worth my time. There are so many "good" long blocks out there for cheap that need no special parts purchased to use, that there is no reason to hang onto one with so much "known" outward damage with "unknown" internal conditions. It may have rusted deep enough you can't bore it enough for over size pistons, I have seen ones that rusty in the bore holes. Plus he is keeping some important items you'll have to search for, and probably pay a good amount for, to make it complete

Best to just tote that one to the salvage yard and take the $5 or so you get for it to the "drive thru" beer joint on your way home! <grin>
