I installed one of the Beta Boyz firewall trans mounts on the last Zag I had and it has pre-maturely fallen apart, so we are looking for a stock mount, prefer new but excellent condition used would be fine as well. anyone?

How about you Jerry? is the one on that drive train any good? if so, will you let it go?

That's fine, you'll learn.........yup!.......you'll learn! LOL

It's the trans mount on the fire wall side. bolts to the craddle W/ 4 bolts and has an ear that bolts to the trans with 2 bolts. The other front trans mount sits down in the craddle and has one large bolt thru the center for the trans bracket and 6 bolts holding the mount to the craddle, I need the rear firewall side

Have you considered bringing up the premature disintegration issue with Beta Boyz? If there was a production run that, say, had known issues with a high failure rate, or if they want to see how it failed so early so they could improve the design in the future or just want to maintain a good reputation, they might be willing to work with you. "If you don't ask, the answer is always 'no'." Just sayin'. :)

Hmmm..And I had a problem with those BB control arm poly bushings.I am starting to think the only thing the Brits make consistently well is Beefeater. ':

Although for improving design reasons, I probably should email them, but, no, I haven't contacted Beta Boyz because I wouldn't expect them to warranty a part on a car I sold to someone else. I have no ill feelings nor am I dissing Beta Boyz, (I am dissapointed the mount failed after only three years), I love those guys and I will continue to purchase parts from them. This is the first part of many I have purchasd from them to have a problem and I also suspect a bad batch or early version maybe???? who knows, but since I purchase it for my car, installed, used for a while then sold to another fellow that has been driving it for about 2 years now, I would not feel right asking them to cover it..........it is the way I was raised I guess! LOL

I was thinking about your bushing failures too Charlie when I got Bob's email about the motor mount failing! <grin>, it was a red motor mount ya know, kinda looks to be the same material as the bushing kits maybe???? ha ha ha

Jim,The control arm poly bushings that I had were black in color.I will point out am not completely sure about the cause of their failure.I very well may not have had the suspension loaded properly when I installed them,so that gives them the benefit of the doubt.I installed the OEM type and made sure the control arms were at the recomended "loaded" measurements using your "Jim Keller beer drinking method"....So far so good. I am not trying to diss the BB either. My post about Brits and Beefeater is just my attempt at humor.

Much better gins than that there, Charley. My favorites are Blackwood's (thanks Hamish!) and Old Raj, both of which are made in Scotland.

I stand corrected, the Brits produce more than one premium Gin.Being of Welsh heritage,I wondered if the Welsh produced any outstanding liquor products.I googled "Welsh liquor" and found some pages about Welsh Vodka. But I thought this (http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/2008/04/23/welsh-church-applies-for-liquor-licence-91466-20803959/) was even more interesting. What a concept, having a beer at church. :D

Jim, having the car and extras in storage in Columbus makes checking on parts difficult. I have been swamped at work and unable to get there(2 hr trip). This storm left us with Huge tree damage and POWER out until late today!! I let dad know what you're looking for, sorry for the delay!! I'll let you know as soon as possible. Jerry

That's fine, I understand, Ike hit us hard too, although we only got 65 to 70MPH winds. We got a 12" plus dia by over 60 foot long tree, (actually just a HUGE branch off an even bigger tree), fall on our house, (actually corner of house and side of garage), and the branches got my "just installed Saturday afternoon" brand new $400 fiberglass entry door! (Argh!), good thing we didn't get the $350 storm door installed yet, I'm sure the branches would have shattered the glass on it!, we also had two 12" or larger 30 to 40 foot long branches fall on my shed breaking the fiberglass roof and also the propane tank, doing nothing more to it than minor scratches. We got most of it cleaned up yesterday thanks to Vicoden, Flexiril, Advil, Johndeere, elec. Black and Decker chain saw Alligator loppers, elec. Skill 3HP chain saw, lots of leaf and hard raking and open burning allowed where I live! I was SMOKING UP the neighborhood with wet leaves and branches for sure! LOL I have to mow and bag the leaves that seem a foot deep yet, but that's all we have left to do. We only lost power twice and neither time for more than 15 seconds, never lost the phone either.

Besides, Bob is probably still in Italy reporting on the Monza F1 race, so he isn't in a panic hurry for it yet, boy!, I'ed love to have his job! LOL
