If I ever had them I've lost them, HELP. Mine is an '82 Zagato.
I don't know if the specs are the same for a Coupe or not. I
want to be specific. Squirrely little differences between Coupes
& Zagatos. Maybe alignment too. Thanks all . . .

Toe in 0.0196 - 0.157 Rear Early model
Toe In 0.079 - 0.197 Read Late model - series 2 I guess

BTW, the above figures are for an unladen vehicle; fully-laden to spec (full gas tank + ~495 lbs.) figures are: Front Toe-out -0-0.14" (-0-3.5mm) Front Rear Toe-in +0.020-0.157" (+3.0-6.0mm)
Camber and caster are normally non-adjustable, and thus should only ever be out of spec due to damage. All these figures and more are on page 38 (original) of the Beta Dealer Service Letters I obtained in the Downloads section of this site (hrm... which file seems to be missing now... DJ?).
As to where you actually want your toe set, narrower toe (within spec range) tends to give better stability and reduces oversteer, whereas wider toe gives crisper turn-in response and reduces understeer. See more on general alignment theory here (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=4).

They are right here (http://lancisti.net/index.php?ind=downloads&op=entry_view&iden=4). There's 2 pages of stuff in the Beta downloads section. :)

Thanks D.J., I guess. After a 15 minute download the file won't open
on my ancient Mac. Something about invalid file format.

I suspect you also have an ancient version of Adobe reader. :)
Maybe upgrade it? It's free.

I downloaded on my Son's newer Mac but the print is so fuzzy
I can't read it. That file was '75 - '79, Series #1? I think '81s
& '82s were Series #2 ? I think there were differences ?
Thanks ?

Can't understand why you can't read it as it's perfectly clear on both my Macs and both Windows machines.
I've exported and attached the page you need into an MS Word document format. See if this works for you.

Ha-ha, he-he PITA is me: I don't have anything MicroSoft on my
'puters. Copy & mail as per our discussion, please? Thanks D.J. .

Geez, Dave! That doesn't mean you can't read a Word document. Just about any application can read and print a Word document. Don't you have ANY applications on your computer?
I KNOW you can read and print a JPEG file. See attached.

Thanks, Will. But I think he should have to do a LITTLE work and get computer-capable/competent if he wants to participate in an online forum! ;)
Hopefully this all helps, Dave. I just figured you could use the info quicker than the USPS would get it to you.

Very funny Gentlemen. Liked your picture Will. Am I 'puter literate
anymore, no. Stupid? Well kinda sorta. Afterall I'm concurrently re-
storing an '82 LBZ & a '76 Scorpion. That kinda qualifies as quasi-
braindead. Thanks !
