Just had a look at that link. If I understand it correctly, you're actually charged to show your car? If you enter a car you ARE the show! How do they get anyone to turn up...?

Ours has just dropped to a fraction under $10... but at least when I drive my classic to a show I just take it in and put it on display FREE OF CHARGE! And the show organisers are extremely grateful that I bothered to come...
I am aware of a show that does charge however; needless to say it isn't a big show. It's wrong that people showing their cars are charged. They should be PAID!! Ha.

The $5 is actually a parking fee charged to everyone, I paid it last year for my 98 Ford Windstar minivan and wasn't even allowed to park on the show field with it! LOL

Anyway, the $5 all goes to a childrens adoption charity organized by the now decesed founder of Wendy's fast food resteraunts Dave Thomas who was adopted him self. He was big into helping adoption agencies. I never mind plunking down less than the cost of a fast food lunch for chairities like this one, especially if I can have a great time doing it, five bucks is VERY CHEAP all day entertainment around here. The orginizers, suppliers of things needed to run the show and workers make nothing, it is all given to the chairity
