Hi guys,

Just to let you know I just finished uploading a load of pics and a couple of videos from this years event. We had a fantastic weekend, with huge thanks going to Rod & Linda, who organised everything for us, from tickets, the stand , access to to the circuit, track laps, a proper Beta Montecarlo Turbo, and of course the stunning chateau for our digs!!

We had a total of 19 montes on the stand, as well as a very tidy Integrale, a superb Fulvia and a beautiful Fulvia Zag, not to mention a very tidy Beta Spyder.

Pics are in my folder under the title Le Mans 2008 would you believe??:D

Have a looksee and enjoy. Make sure your volume is turned down if you're at work and looking at the video clips. For some reason, one video isn't in the right folder and it's been duplicated. The other one, which is a larger file of the whole field won't upload - maybe it's too big??

Roll on 2010 and the next one!

Cheers!

As ever you have produced a good range of pictures from the event.
Pity family plans meant I could not be there.
Regards
Tom

Not to worry mate - you've got plenty of time to clear your diary for 2010!!:D

It was a brilliant weekend - well recommended to anyone who can get there!

Cheers

Over the years I have made many of the Le Mans trips, overseas work locations permitting. have done the full spectrum from sleeping in the coach that took us, in a tent and lately in a proper bed!! Always though to the 'main' race not the classic. Up to 18 of us used to go.
Hope that 2010 will be OK for the classic and maybe 2009 for the main race.

Fantastic photos Darren, I still look at the hundreds a friend of mine took when he was there for the last one, I can only imagine how fantastic it would be to travel there in a convoy of Lancias and soak up the atmosphere and history. And I love the strut brace on the Monte, there are a few hours of work there!

I think it would be true to say that an 'architectural background' played its part in the design. It looks good!8)

The strut brace was designed by Andy Young, who is an architect with an engineering background. There is a thread on this in the Montecarlo Consortium Forum. It ain't cheap though it does look the dog's danglies! :D
