Dont want to spoil the ending for those that havent watched it, but all I can say is the Merc couldn't catch it. :)

That Merc couldn't even do the smoky burnouts they use to show on TV in those days without going backwards at 40MPH and dropping into low gear at full throttle! let alone catch a Zag! ha ha ha, half the HP and 10 times the weight! and NO suspension! talk about a boat! I used to drive those full size Fords back in those days, they were very piss poor handling cars with absolutly NO power for anything but 80 year old grandpa type driving! LOL, but man could you haul a lot of your drunken friends in one! plus they would hold at least ten dead bodies in the trunk! ha ha ha

Well, Jonathan Hart can't drive.

*LOL*

I'm sure a lot of us would make a better effort at it!

But it was great to see a Zag being used in a chase scene. I also do remember many, many years ago, I watched this chinese movie and it had a Zag in it as well. From memory (very hazy) that it was avoiding an accident. Hell, cant even remember the story!

Well, the guy in the Zagato had an hour and a half head start while RJ was calling for backup.....

OK, that was a totally tasteless joke. I admit it. I'm just in a mood today.

The grill indicates to me it's a '79 carbed LBZ. That poor car couldn't
outrun a golf cart.

Those grills were on them 79 AND 81, Taht car is an 81 FI, it'll go pretty darn good, I jnow, I have had several! <grin> look at the gas cap, door with hidden cap is 79, cap exposed on side is 81, other than that, the 79s and 81s look the same outside

never mind the grills and the years, what about the fact that Stefanie Powers was sitting in my car!!! That could have been me with the driving gloves and polyester suit, LOL

*LOL* I wonder what she looks like now? She'll be in her late 50s.

As for the Zagato used in this episode, she's probably transformed into rust after the water splash. :(
