Timucin,

Check http://www.whalley-integrale.uk.com/ and also http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/3756/evocorner.html which has lots of various links for Lancia Integrale. I think you will find what you need at either one of these sites.

Hi Stanislaus, you're engine emblem looks interesting. It appears to be 2.0l supercharged, 8 or 16v? Any tech specs, performance and car it powers would be greatly appreciated.

Andybeta,

You can find all the good answers at my web site www.rothbauer.us it's to be updated someday? Next engine currently in the works is a 2.0L same spec as on web site but, with Abarth 131 Volumetrico Supercharger and higher lift intake cam. I am courious as well to see what type of power can truely be made with just simple weber DCOE carbs. Future plans is to go to EFI but, that's down the road... If you don't find what your looking for at my site let me know.

Hi Stanislaus,

Is your engine suitable for the road or only for the track?
How much did it cost?

I want a similar power increase for my engine and will only be using it on the road.

Hey Stanislaus I just had a look at your website, that's very impressive, you've done a beautiful job, I'm really interested to know what the jetting is you're running in the 45 DCOE, I'm going to get around to fitting one to my VX coupe one day. And any reason you went for two Guy Croft IIB cams rather than just a IIIA inlet cam? From the little correspondance I've had with Guy he says that the route you have gone may be a lot more thirsty than the IIIA, I'm interested to hear your findings, thanks.

Colin,

The 2.0L VX engine was designed for Track usage but, will work fine for street. My idea was to build a full race engine that would work for both race and street in a Lancia Scorpion. It's more of a Race engine but, limited only to 7,500rpms as I used late pattern Fiat Rods vs. Forged type. My next engine I'm working on will use an Abarth R10 Supercharger as on the 131 Volumetrico and will have Crower Forged Rods with ARP bolts to keep everything together @ 8,500RPM! This should be fun on the dyno!! The cost was as learning curve as I kept changing my mind from Full Race to Street and wound up inbetween. If you really want to know email offline at stanislaus@rothbauer.us for specific details as it's not just about the numbers and parts cost. I have some video of my engine while on the dyno at ShadeTree Engineering I'm uploading soon so, keep checking in from time to time.

ciao,

Stanislaus R.R.

Figners,

Glad you liked the web site! I have the info on the Carb setting at home and when I return back to the USA I will provide you with the carb settings. Should be a good starting point for your engine as your using the exact cams I used on my VX engine setup.

As for a more aggressive intake cam it's all about how you intend to use and maintain it. When I am in Texas I drive out to the TWS Race Track every few months and let my Lancia run wild over the weekend! What a blast, however it's currently only setup as a 1.8L Dual DCNF 40's with 10.5:1 Compression ASSO Werk pistons with a strong set of cams and an Ansa 4-2-1 Exhaust. I'm more into Full Race Power but, still need it drivable regardless of gas expense and engine longevity as It's the only way to enjoy these engines in my mind. ;P)

There are not many, if any at all that have built and raced a 2.0L VX 8V engine for Full Race...

Excellent thanks for that. I look forward to it, mine's a real work in progress, I'm trying not to spend too much on it at once.

Maintenance isn't a problem, I quite enjoy that and am fairly handy with the tools, but I'm thinking that I'm only going to use it now for longer trips, the roads down here are great for a car like a VX, lots of windy hills, broken up by a few straight bits, but not many.
