Just thought I would let everyone know, I happened upon a tail light for a lancia zagato on ebay. It took me a while to find one to replace one for my zagato, so now when I find one I tell everyone hoping to help someone out. I searched under Lancia Zagato Tail Light to find it. Item# 260259467335 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fse arch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37%26satitle%3D 260259467335%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1&item=260259467335). Hope this one finds a good home.

Is this the same lense as the one that went off recently (relisted)?

This is interesting. Here's (http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/pts/758043743.html) the exact same photo posted yesterday on Craigslist in California. I wonder if someone bought it as a quick-turn profit or if the original seller realized he wanted more for it.

Hey sorry about that but I've been looking for a good one for a couple of years and I forgot the end time of the NOS one up a couple of weeks ago...
If the guy would reply to confirm he's shipped it I'd be a lot happier though...

No worries Stuart, I still have plenty of time to track one down. Mind's kinda got a blemish, maybe it could be cleaned by soaking for a while?
DJ, you could be right. Pricey as well.

What sort of blemish? A LOT of such blemishes can be cleared with with a good bit of elbow grease and plastic polish.

I'll take a pic and post it up in a few weeks time (in-laws have taken my digicam on hols) for feedback/advice.
I dont want to remove the light unless I have to. All I can say is that it'll probably wont pass our Road Traffic Authority when I try to register her.
Just thought if I could get a taillight, then I can play around with this old one.

I have found most times the only problem with the tail light is an extreem amount of dirt inside the lens and housing. I have taken many apart "CAREFULLY" and cleaned them to make them like nearly new. You may have to re-paint the inside reflective silver paint as it is normally dried out and washes or rinses right off. Then I will also, in worst case, wet sand with 2000 grit and soapy water, then buff with a very fine micro polish for paint, (we use 3M brand micro polish buffing compound), most times you do not need to wet sand first, (Wet sanding followed by a good buffing works REAL good on fogged up lexan lenses like on these modern cars headlamps that tend to get cloudy, makes them crystal clear again), just buffing will work in most cases unless they are extreemly scratched, followed by a good hand applied car wax, that removes most scratches and such on the outside. You have to be very careful as the old lens is very brittle and fragile, do the wet sand and buff trick with the lens securely mounted in the housing and best if it's on the car as well.

If you have old, hazed up lenses that are at the point where the acrylic is starting to get etched and microporous, try poliglow. You don't have to sand, compound, or buff and the results are excellent. It soaks in and fills up the pores.

Thanks for the advice!
I'll examine it carefully again (she's all covered and tied up fromt he elements) on a weekend and see what is exactly wrong with it. I'll take a pic too to show you guys.
