Had a good chuckle at some of it... the vacuum operated oil dipstick (mm totally reliable), the automatic levelling headlamps (still there on my car, but id be very surprised if they ever worked), and I dont know how they shot that picture in the back of the HPE showing that amount of headroom - they must have gotten dwarves!

Very enjoyable to see the quirky 'nuclear family' style and motoring journalism where you didnt shred a set of tyres or deride anything whilst doing a review

WOW, Andrew- I never new S1 Monte's had enough ground clearance to be used as 4X4 vehicles, maybe that only works if they are driven by Gay Count Dracula!

I watched that film, and all I could think was, " Move your tit out of the way, Ilona, I want to get a good look at that vertical stripe door card upholstery!".

Does this mean I have a problem? hahaha.....:)

on my vx the vacuum oil thingy was always quite accurate and better than pulling the dipstick out on a cold day and finding the bottom bit still in the sump! on the beta sedan i had a few years ago the lamp levelling worked perfectly and as far as i know as long as the system is not disturbed it is pretty good (loss of fluid is fatal)
