A complete setup to change to DCNF 40's, including 2 x 40 DCNF's, which have been cleaned and overhauled with new serivce kits, Alquatti Montecarlo (not Beta) manfold with linkage attached. Also MH Airbox (fitted, so no work needed there! Pipe to standard airbox and may also throw in lastforever airfilter and spacer if it's a good enough offer! This stuff will be available for a week, and after that, everything will be available per item, apart from the carbs.

Cheers

Me curious. What is your asking price? Have no need for the set-up
but curious nonetheless. Thanks.

I'm not really sure tbh - I would at least recoup the majority of my costs as they've not actually been used - manifolds are now nla. The carbs and manifold originally cost me 350 quid, 40 quid for the overhaul kits, 160 quid for the airbox, 24 quid for the pipe, 35 for the filter, 7 quid for the spacer, say 20 quids worth of banjo's clips, t-pieces etc - so we're up to 636.00 without the various amounts of postage for the bits. That sounds a bit steep, but I think that say 550.00 for a new setup is reasonable. Ok, it's a bit of a fiddle to fit, but all the bits are there (I've probably got a new inlet gasket to go with it all. The series one pump and filter should be ok to keep - although you would probably want to fit a filterking. The only other thing you'd need would be the time spent setting it up on a rolling road.

Not a prob if it doesn't go, it'll just go back in the pile of other bits.

Gosh Darren, thanks for the lenghty reply. So what is all that in U.S.
greenbacks? I'm merely comparison shopping so to speak for what
I paid for my set-up awhile back. Just spit out a guesstimate.
I'm not a buyer just a curious sort. Thanks. Hope you get what you
wish for the items. Rare they are indeed.

Dunno - with current conversion - about $1k US? No probs on the lengthy post - more I guess for other readers who may be interested!

At Friday's conversion rate of 1.00 GBP = $1.97, 636 GBP would equal $1252.92. 550 GBP would be $1,083.50.

A reasonable price for the setup at today's prices and availability IMHO.

Reasonable indeed. I paid $1.5K US for my 42 DCNFs w/manifold,
$348 for complete pro re-build w/extra jet set, $100 for inlet
elbows [Pierce] & I forget what for the Monte Hospital housing.
Darren is certainly correct about the housing, pre-cut, being a
big plus. My cut-out came out perfect but I was scared to death
I'd screw up & ruin a very expensive item.
