The "original Group 5" Montecarlo is back on eBay: 150243684030. Just like the real thing, only different:

"By Group 5 a unit following the carmaker’s guidelines, that provide you plans and materials, was enough. Therefore this car is an original Group 5, but it’s not an official Lancia’s team unit. Those were built by Dallara and there had, even, a tubular chassis; if you are able to find one of this units for sale, the asking price will be around 350.000 €. In 1979 a private team in the US built this Group 5 following the Lancia’s specifications. To do that they have to maintain the motor, but installing on it a turbo and an intercooler."

"The bodywork it’s done by adding over a Montecarlo’s base the wided aluminium and composite front, installing a full safe aluminium fuel cell, with race closing plug, and a composite’s front hood with aerodynamic charge. At the rear side a one-piece flip-up composite’s engine cover ‘coda lunga’ (long tail) was installed, as the plans showed, with an adjustable carbon rear wing. The roof it’s the double bubble one used later by the Lancia 037, which this Montecarlo Turbo Group 5 the forefather of it is."
