It no workie. Condition of column switch, relay unknown,no blown
fuse[s]. Ran a ground & power wire from battery. Battery ground
to mtr.harness ground. "+" lead to the grey & light blue harness
wires did nothing. Schematic looks like the grey or light blue wire
are the power leads. I'll deal w/the intermittant function later.
Goal now is to establish if the motor is shot. Thanks.

Hi David,

Just done the same job on mine - sill not working off the stalk, but at least I know the motor works!! dunno abut the scorp, but the monte dran hole is pointing up so it can fill with water!! I would be inclined to take it out, strip clean and reassemble. Doesn't take long - oh and drill a drain hole in the right side!! You may also end up changing the wires if they're shot. Have fun!;o)

Mine has the sheath intact & the drain hole is on the bottom.
I'll take mine apart for a look-see. Ordered a used mtr.for
$28 just in case from Midwest X 1/9. Matt had 3 new ones
[$89] but they sold fast. Matt has alot of stuff that will fit
Scorps but doesn't actively pursue that market.
