On eBay from 18.30hrs UK time, 31st January. All ending on January 10th at half hour intervals. Item numbers: 330208463790, 330208465761, 330208406209, 330208408197. Both front quarterlights and both internally adjustable mirrors, all in top condition. Perfect for a S1 to S2 mirror conversion, a Scorpion to S2 mirror conversion or even just for spares as these are extremely rare items now. Just thought I'd let you all know!

Tempting but most Scorps had "Californian" mirrors screwed into
the doors = HOLES. Then there's the question of glass . . .

Ha ha! Sorry David, I thought "quarterlight" was a universal term! Indeed, I did actually think it to be of American English origins... Obviously I was wrong! Fair comment regarding the holes in the doors that such a conversion would leave... I suppose if it was done at the restoration stage then one could just weld them up, skim the repairs with lead (preferable) or filler (fine as long as the holes were totally sealed with weld) and repaint. Not a straightforward conversion though, admittedly.
