The PO of my Scorp. I bought last Spring gave me one
ignition key NO door keys. Looks like I'll need send Stuart
[keys4classics] my glovebox lock for keys. Question is
the door keys are differrent than ignition right? And the
door key will fit the glovebox, hood lock & gas cap right?
I can't find any key codes on the lock cylinder bodies.

David,
Did you ever find a solution to this? I also have no keys for the door latches and could not find a code on the lock cylinder. I'd be interested to know if keys4classics was able to create keys from the locks.

I have door key blanks if any one needs any, I just have to unpack them. (I have just recently moved and starting to unpack)
If memory serves me I think I have 6 left and I want to keep 2.
PM me if interested.

Boy this is an oldie. Yes Stuart cut new Silca keys
for me. Ignition w/black plastic head, door etc.
keys w/o head. Ignition perfect fit, door keys took
a little filing. He's a real saviour for us!

Tony,

Keys4Classics won't just have the blanks; they'll be able to cut from either the original key code, or even just a scan of an original key. When I needed a Fulvia key, I scanned both sides of my existing one, e-mailed the JPEGs with payment details, and perfectly-cut keys arrived in the mail. Utterly painless.

Ok thats great news ed, my door key snapped in half and have no spares :(, none of the local locksmiths could do anything, so was kinda stuck.

Thanks for all the info! I hope to fit central locking down the track and remote open with alarm system.

Cheers,
Tony

Tony,

If it's an original key, it should have a code stamped into it near the plastic head. If so, it'll be simple to have them replicate it.
