Hello,

I just thought this bit of info might be helpful to some Lancisti who are restoring their cars or are having issues with some electrical items along the way.

Recently the night time back lighting quite working on some of the dashboard switches on my Alfa Milano 3.0L (aka Alfa-75 America). Rather than ditch the switches and search for new ones I sent them to a gentleman by the name of Bob Gauthier in San Diego, Ca. USA. Bob is an expert on all things electrical for cars.

He did an absolutely masterful job in repairing these switches and replaced both the incandescent night time back light and the LED's located within each of these dash switches. I would have probably broken the darn switches when attempting to take them a part, I don't know how he got those switches a part and back together without any breakage!?! They now work perfectly and are now visible at night.

A while back Bob also completely repaired the LCD read out on the climate control unit (made by BOSCH) on my Alfa 164LS and this unit is still working fine to this day.

If you have a specialty car that needs some R&R on it's switches, radios or any electrical item contact Bob he's the best!
